These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our services and website. By using our services, purchasing products, or submitting enquiries through our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Hope Customs provides custom PC builds, laptop and desktop repairs, upgrades, diagnostics, refurbishment services, and related technical support within the United Kingdom.
2. Services
We currently offer services including:

Desktop and laptop repairs
Hardware upgrades
Diagnostics and fault finding
Refurbished systems
General technical support
All work is completed based on specifications and requirements agreed with the customer before work begins.
3. Quotes & Pricing
All quotes are provided based on the information available at the time.
Quotes are typically valid for 7–14 days unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change due to component availability or market fluctuations.
Additional faults or required parts discovered during repair may result in revised pricing.
Any additional costs will always be communicated before proceeding.
Hope Customs reserves the right to refuse or withdraw quotations at any time.
4. Payments
A deposit may be required before parts are ordered or work begins.
Full payment must be made before collection, delivery, or return of any completed system or device unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Failure to make payment may result in delays or refusal of service.
Accepted payment methods will be confirmed during the order process.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
Backing up all important files and data before handing over devices
Removing sensitive or confidential information where possible
Providing accurate information regarding faults or requested work
Hope Customs is not responsible for data loss, corrupted files, or software issues unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Repairs & Custom Builds
All services are carried out professionally and with reasonable care.
We are not liable for pre-existing faults, hidden hardware issues, or unrelated failures that may occur during or after repair.
Any additional issues identified during work will be discussed with the customer before proceeding.
Custom systems are built according to the specifications agreed with the customer.
7. Turnaround Times
Estimated turnaround times are provided where possible.
Completion dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Delays may occur due to parts availability, shipping delays, supplier issues, or workload.
Customers will be updated if significant delays occur.
8. Warranty
New Components
New components supplied by Hope Customs are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties.
Refurbished / Used Components
Refurbished or used components may include limited warranty coverage or no warranty depending on the item.
Labour Warranty
A limited workmanship warranty may be provided on completed work or custom builds where applicable.
Warranty does not cover:
Physical damage
Accidental damage
Liquid damage
Software corruption
Customer misuse
Overclocking or unsupported modifications
Third-party repairs or tampering
9. Refunds & Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable once parts have been ordered or work has commenced.
Custom-built systems are non-refundable once assembly has begun.
Refunds may be considered only where required by UK consumer law or at our discretion.
Customers must request cancellations before work begins to be eligible for any refund consideration.
10. Liability
Hope Customs shall not be held liable for:
Loss of data
Loss of earnings or business
Software issues
Indirect or consequential damages
Delays caused by suppliers or delivery services
Devices and systems are left with us at the customer’s own risk unless otherwise agreed.
11. Data Protection & Privacy
Customer information is handled securely and confidentially.
We do not sell or share personal information with third parties.
Access to customer devices is limited strictly to what is necessary for completing agreed services.
Customers are encouraged to remove sensitive information before submitting devices for repair or upgrade.

Other agreed methods of contact
We aim to respond to enquiries within 24–48 hours where possible.
13. Right to Refuse Service
Hope Customs reserves the right to refuse service if:
Requests are unlawful or inappropriate
A device is deemed unsafe to work on
Payment terms are not met
Customers display abusive or threatening behaviour
14. Collection, Delivery & Shipping
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery and contact information.
Delivery and collection times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Hope Customs is not responsible for courier delays, failed deliveries, or damages caused during transit once items have been dispatched.
Customers are advised to inspect systems or devices upon arrival and report any issues as soon as possible.
15. Software & Licencing
Hope Customs does not install unauthorised, pirated, or illegal software under any circumstances.
Customers are responsible for supplying or purchasing valid software licences where required, including operating systems and productivity software.
Some systems may be supplied without an activated operating system unless otherwise agreed prior to sale or build completion.
16. Performance Disclaimer
Performance figures, benchmark estimates, and FPS expectations are approximate and may vary depending on hardware configuration, software versions, background applications, game updates, and user settings.
Hope Customs cannot guarantee identical performance results across all systems or software environments.
17. Portfolio & Marketing
Hope Customs may photograph or showcase completed systems, builds, or setups for portfolio, gallery, website, or social media purposes.
No personal customer information will be shared publicly.
Customers may request that their build or device is not featured in promotional content.
18. Abandoned Devices
Customers will be contacted when devices or systems are ready for collection.
Devices left uncollected for more than 30 days without communication may be considered abandoned.
Hope Customs reserves the right to charge reasonable storage fees where applicable.
19. Device Condition & Hygiene
Devices submitted for repair or upgrade should be in a safe and reasonable condition.
Hope Customs reserves the right to refuse service on devices containing excessive dirt, liquid damage, biohazards, infestations, or hazardous conditions that may pose a risk to equipment or health.
20. Passwords & Device Access
Customers may be required to provide passwords or login access where necessary for diagnostics, testing, or software installation.
Any provided passwords or account details will be handled confidentially and will not be stored after service completion unless otherwise required for ongoing support.
21. Invoice & Record Keeping
Hope Customs may retain invoices, service records, and communication history for accounting, warranty, and support purposes.
Customer information is stored securely and handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws.
22. Changes to Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time without prior notice.
